RNA – In a meeting with a group of officials in Sari, Hujjat al-Islam Ali Mo’allemi, the representative of the people of Mazandaran in the Assembly of Experts, referred to the crimes committed by Saudi Arabia against Yemen and said, “Today, this infanticidal regime, with support of the United States, has committed the greatest crimes of the century in Yemen.”
The Friday prayer of Qaemshahr said that while the United States considers the Yemeni nation as terrorists, the House of Saud is abandoning its night and day missile bomb attacks committed against the innocent people of this impoverished and war-torn country and added, “The crimes of the Saudi regime in Yemen are quite evident and don’t require any proof.”
Referring to the fact that the Americans don’t consider the evident crimes committed by Saudi Arabia in Yemen as human rights violations, he said, “Saudi fighters easily target innocent Yemeni children and all of these crimes are carried out with the support and silence of Western organizations, especially the Americans.”
Hujjat al-Islam Mo’allemi said that human rights are the only tools for several Western countries to secure their hegemonic interests and noted, “These so-called international human rights associations have lost their reputation among the people of the world.”
In another part of his remarks, His Eminence referred to the forty-year-long animosity of the United States against the Iranian nation, saying, “The United States, as the foremost enemy of the Iranian nation, doesn’t want this nation to be the flagbearer of pure Islam in the world.”
He emphasized that we, with one voice and with harmony, must listen to the command of imamate and wilayah (guardianship) so that the enemies take their desire to destroy the Islamic Revolution to the grave, stated, “As long as we obey the command of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution [Ayatollah Khamenei], the enemies cannot make the smallest move against the Islamic system of government.”
Hujjat al-Islam Mo’allemi saying that the enemies are applying all of their power and effort to deviate the Iranian people away from the path of the Islamic Revolution, said, “Over the past forty years since the Islamic Revolution, the Iranian people have proved that they always support the system and the revolution.”
He emphasized that the great nation of Iran won’t allow the enemies to achieve their evil goals within our country, said, “Through resistance against the conspiracies of the enemies, the great nation of Iran will force them to retreat.”
The Saudi regime and its allies launched a deadly campaign against Yemen in March 2015 in an attempt to reinstall the country's former Riyadh-allied regime and crush the Houthi Ansarullah movement.
The Western-backed imposed war, which has so far failed to achieve its stated goals, has, however, constrained humanitarian deliveries of food and medicine to the import-dependent state, leading to a mass cholera outbreak and starvation from famine.
