RNA – Speaking during a meeting with General Gholamreza Jalali, the head of the National Passive Defense Organization, Grand Ayatollah Naser Makarem-Shirazi said that the enemies have been made hopeless, although they have tried all options to counter Iran’s Islamic system and people and said, “In military and political issues, they have reached a dead end and have put all of their efforts toward sanctions, and, fortunately, due to the resistance of the nation, they have not been able to achieve their goals so far.”
The revered source of emulation stressed that the enemies and the Americans are caught up in the delusions and issues that the hypocrites suggest to them and said, “They say that if we leave the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JPCOA), such and such will happen to Iran and the situation will collapse, but in reality we saw that their dreams were not interpreted.”
He considered the enemies’ investments as a lie and said, “They lie about our country and our people day and night and even some of their electoral rivals say they are embarrassed by these lies.”
Ayatollah Makarem-Shirazi stressed that the sanctions are costly for the Americans and the West and added said, “The world imagines that a dictator stands above them and must always follow its commandments and prohibitions and not endure this. That the whispers of this issue have been heard in Europe itself. Besides this, sanctions also have costs for the Americans and are harming them.”
The prominent teacher in the Islamic Seminary of Qom said that the sanctions on Iran’s oil will increase its price throughout the world and governments and nations of the world won’t be happy with this issue and added, “American officials speak frequently of November 4th [to launch the second wave of sanctions against Iran] but they know that the day will come and noting will happen and due to divine grace, they will be disappointed.”
He said more than ever, Iran needs unity, sympathy of the people, officials and various political groups and emphasized, “Today, everyone must abandon factional issues and have concern about solving the problems.”
Ayatollah Makarem-Shirazi emphasized that we must explain to the people that which the media of the enemies say is baseless and said, “The people must know that the enemies who claim that they are negotiating with Iran every day are looking for an excuse. One day, they make claims about missiles, another day they make claims about human rights, the IRGC, the Popular Mobilization Forces and Hezbollah. The people must know that the Americans’ excuses have no end.”
His Eminence emphasized that we have no choice but to resist against the enemies and the Americans and said, “If resistance and unification is created, the enemies’ weapons won’t achieve anything. God-willing, nothing new will occur on November 4th.”
He added, “The Americans are bluffing about Iran and this must be well explained to the people.”
