RNA – In a lecture commemorating Arba’in al-Husayn at the Islamic Azad University of ‎Rasht, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Ali Hoseyni-Eshkevari, the representative of the people of ‎Gilan province in the Assembly of Experts, referred to the universality of the Husayni ‎movement and said, “In the caravan of Karbala, people from the various classes of the ‎society at that time were present and is this sign of the universality of that movement.” ‎

 

The Iranian scholar stated that the efforts and endeavours of Lady Zaynab and Imam al-‎Sajjad after the tragedy of the uprising of Ashura led to the survival and survival of the ‎message of Imam al-Husayn and added, “In various periods of history, many efforts have ‎been made to protect and expand this great movement by the Pure Imams and religious ‎scholars.”‎

 

He saying that the preservation of the uprising of Ashura and Husayni culture has been ‎ordered by the Pure Imams and the religious scholars, stated, “Today, we see, despite all ‎the hostilities against the Ahlul-Bayt, that this movement has become globalized.”‎

 

Hujjat al-Islam Hoseyni-Eshkevari said that the march of Arba’in al-Husayn is a symbol of ‎support for the oppressed, “The presence of millions of people is proof of the greatness of ‎Islam and the preservation of the flag of courage.”‎

 

Emphasizing that the Husayni culture has crossed geographical boundaries in the current era, ‎His Eminence stated, “We clearly see how millions of lovers of Imam al-Husayn have ‎travelled on foot in order to make the pilgrimage from Najaf to the divine court of the ‎Master of the Martyrs [Imam al-Husayn] in Karbala.”‎

 

He pointed out that Imam al-Husayn had risen up for the survival of religion of Islam against ‎oppression, added, “The movement of Imam al-Husayn prevented deviation in Islamic ‎society and today, we see the result of this in the Islamic world.”‎

 

Hujjat al-Islam Hoseyni-Eshkevari stated that Imam al-Husayn did not remain silent in the ‎face of the cruelty and corruption of his time and stood with power against the corrupt rulers ‎and added, “Today, our duty is to continue on the same path that Imam al-Husayn began ‎and was martyred on.”‎

 

In conclusion, he stated that the movement of Imam al-Husayn was a movement of love ‎and rationality, stated, “The Master of the Martyrs made a completely conscious decision to ‎rise up against the cruelty and corruption of his era.”‎
