RNA – In a meeting with Hoseyn Ashtari, the commander of the Law Enforcement Force of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Ja’far Sobhani referred to a narration about the importance of the blessings of health and safety and said, “As long as man does not attain these two great divine blessings, he cannot appreciate them well.”
The revered source of emulation appreciated the services of the Law Enforcement Force and said, “In the light of the existence of security in the country, one can pursue the economic, social and cultural programs of society.”
Saying that the Law Enforcement Force has a great mission to serve the people, Ayatollah Sobhani said, “Fortunately, the Law Enforcement Force has provided good services to society and the people so far and have been satisfied. However, the Law Enforcement Force must do more to gain the people’s satisfaction by trying to fix its weaknesses.”
The prominent teacher in the Islamic Seminary of Qom emphasized that that the Law Enforcement Force must pay greater attention to the ethical and intellectual security of society and said, “The Law Enforcement Force must play a role in enjoining the good and forbidding the wrong and specialized activities must be developed by the Law Enforcement Force in order to ensure intellectual and moral security.”
Referring to the country’s special circumstances and the efforts of the enemies to harm the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sobhani considered unity and solidarity as the way to victory over the enemies and to solve the problems of the country.
