RNA – Speaking at a large gathering of the Mohammad Rasoul Allah Brigade of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) at Qom’s Qods Prayer Hall, Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad Sa’idi, the Friday prayer leader of Qom, stated that this magnificent gathering of Basiji forces is creating fears in the hearts of the enemies and added, “The enemies are afraid to witness the power of the Islamic Revolution and the revolutionary forces.”
The custodian of the Holy Shrine of Lady Fatimah al-Ma’sumah said that Iran has remained proud during the four decades that have passed since the Islamic Revolution and has demonstrated to the enemies that it could stand independently against the arrogant powers of the world and said, “The Iranian people, without dependence on the East and the West, have defeated the power of these two blocks and have continued on their own path.”
Referring to the fact that with the help of the insightful and Basiji forces, the Islamic Revolution has defused the enemies’ plots, Ayatollah Sa’idi, expressed, “During the era of the Sacred Defence [Iran-Iraq War], we saw that the whole world stood against us but we didn’t allow even one square kilometre of our territory to be separated or divided from the country.”
His Eminence referred to the soft war and noted, “Today, in the soft war being waged against Iran, it’s such that the wilayati, the insightful and Basiji forces have prevented and will continue to prevent the American plots by following Wilayat al-Faqih [Guardianship of the Jurisprudent].”
He said that today all the world knows that the words of the foolish and immature American president [Donald Trump] are weak and without account, “Today, the United States has been humiliated and wishes to meet with the officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran but Islamic Republic is powerful and dignified and rejects their demands.”
Ayatollah Sa’idi referred to the Basij, who are the manifestation of the authority of the Islamic system of government and who must strengthen unity in society, and said, “If unity exists in society, the enemies cannot eliminate the solidarity of society through sanctions and media propaganda.”
