RNA – In his Friday prayer sermon to a large and fervent crowd of believers in Qom’s Quds Prayer Hall, Ayatollah Seyyed Hashem Hoseyni-Bushehri said that granting the rights of society is an indicator of social justice and said, “The administrators and people have mutual rights that must be taken into consideration and in this form, the rights of the people will find dignity.”
The member of the Supreme Council of the Seminary added, “One of the reasons for calamities is the lack of the observance of the rights of the members of society. When the director abandons society and thinks of himself, the fate of the society will suffer from difficulties. One of the vocations of the manager of society is to defend the rights of the people against the tyrants.”
In his second sermon, he referred to the coming of the solemn month of Muharram and stated, “Muharram is the month of the lessons and the month of the victory of blood over the sword, which is the best opportunity to propagate the religion of God.”
Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri added that during this month, the people can become familiar with the goals of Ashura, which is a three-dimensional event that includes emotion, epic and logic, and said, “Imam al-Husayn continued the same goal of the Prophet Muhammad in his uprising against oppression and his goal was to establish truth and to enjoin the good and forbid the wrong and to fight against corruption in society.”
The member of the board of directors of the Assembly of Experts stated that the purpose of Imam al-Husayn was to eradicate ignorance and misguidance in Islamic society and said, “The expectation of the mourners of Imam al-Husayn is to hold processions and camps with splendour so that all of our capital expresses our devotion to the Ahlul-Bayt. This important capital must not be lost, even in difficult circumstances.”
Referring to the meeting of the members of the Assembly of Experts with the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, and stated, “The main point of the Supreme Leader was that the most important duty of the people, the elites and the authorities of the movement is to maintain solidarity and avoiding the atmosphere of despair and discouragement. In the conditions where the enemies have sharpened their teeth, the path to solve the problems is the path of unity, solidarity and preventing the despair of the people.”
He continued, “In addition to the economic war, a massive media campaign is being fought by the enemies. The damage of a propaganda war may be higher than an economic war. If we fight with each other from within, we have actually played into the enemies’ field. Internal mistakes and improper planning have occurred and there must be healthy criticism but such criticism must not make space for desperation toward the future of the system and the country and the media and propaganda warfare of the enemies must be confronted.”
Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri said, “A person who hoards products and offers the products for sale at astronomical prices have acted in pursuit of the enemies’ objectives and implements their goals. The deprived people must not suffer any problems because of the behaviour of some people who have financial means. The entire nation has a share in the victory of the Islamic Revolution and in order to protect the Revolution, everyone must continue to work in this regard.”
The member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom said, “The economic problems cannot be solved through the judiciary but the judiciary must act according to its duties so that no disturber doesn’t dare to disgrace the courageous Iranian people and pursue the enemies projects. Good actions have been made but the people are waiting for serious measures to be taken and important people must deal with the situation in a serious manner.”
Referring to the situation in the Middle East, he noted, “Four months have passed since the Iraqi parliamentary elections but unfortunately, a government hasn’t been established. Foreign powers and Americans were active and planning to prevent the Iraqi people from being happy after many hardships, especially during the era of Saddam.”
Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri added, “We benevolently speak to the Iraqi brothers to be vigilant over the plots of the enemies. Iraq Shi’ahs must not suffer from disunity because the plan of the enemies is to put Shi’ahs in front of other Shi’ahs. The Islamic ummah and the Iraqi people must strive to be united and maintain the credibility of Iraq. The Popular Mobilization Forces undertook a lot of work to maintain Iraqi sovereignty and they must continue to be respected.”
His Eminence said that today an important meeting will take place, saying, “The leaders of Iran, Russia and Turkey will meet today and their decision on Syria will be very important. The Syrian army has made good progress and we hope the fate of Idlib, where the terrorists gathered, will be marked by a decision by these three great countries which is in the interest of the Syrian people and the city will be cleansed of the terrorists.”
