RNA – In a speech at a graduation ceremony in the southern Lebanese town of Nabatiyeh, Hujjat al-Islam Na’im Qasim, the vice-president of the Executive Council of Hezbollah, stated, “All of the conditions set by the United States to resolve the situation in Syria are meaningless because it’s the victorious side which makes the terms and the United States has been defeated in Syria and doesn’t have the right to determine the conditions and say that Iran and Hezbollah must leave Syria. The United States cannot impose the equations on the issue of security in Syria or on anything other issue because the United States and its allies have essentially been defeated.”
The Lebanese Shi’ah scholar stated, “This issue needs patience and God-willing, one day this reality will change because we have achieved successive victories on behalf of Syria and its axis and we have set aside the dark cloud of the future and victory will continue and we will achieve more victories.”
He added, “All the groups which have associated themselves with the United States must reconsider their relationship because the United States is lying and is the ‘great Satan’ and the greatest deceiver and traitor.”
Hujjat al-Islam Qasim stated, “When has the United States signed an agreement with a country in the world that has been loyal to?”
His Eminence stressed, “The United States will be defeated because it’s an oppressor and an oppressor will be removed at one time but the truth will ultimately prevail. The United States has no conscience or morality. They are now allied with Saudi Arabia and tomorrow you will see that Saudi Arabia will be hit with the first blow from the United States.”
Referring to Donald Trump’s much-delayed Middle East peace plan, the so-called “Deal of the Century,” he said, “This plan won’t reach fruition because the Palestinian fighters disapprove of it.”
In another part of his speech, Hujjat al-Islam Qasim also emphasized about the necessity of forming a Lebanese government and not delaying its formation.
In regard to the Zionist regime, the senior Hezbollah official added, “It’s clear to everyone that the Zionist regime cannot declare war on Lebanon whenever it wants because this issue has finished.”
He said, “In the past, when the Zionist regime made a decision to launch a war, it went forth and realized its interests but today it knows that the war will bring about damages, problems and complexities. Thus, it waits and contemplates. The reason for this situation is that the Islamic Resistance is ready and is determined and willing to answer and defend Lebanon, regardless of any political, domestic, regional or international situation. The Zionist regime knows that if it uses aggression, it will be answered and God-willing, the Islamic Resistance will be able to sustain and defend and we won’t see a return to the former situation. The time to follow has pasted and the time for resistance has begun.”
