Rasa – Hujjat al-Islam Amanollah Alimoradi said that officials and government executives must stop their slogans and take jihadi actions within the remaining years.
RNA – In an exclusive interview with Rasa News Agency, Hujjat al-Islam Amanollah Alimoradi, the representative of the people of Kerman in the Assembly of Experts, expressing criticism over the government’s performance in economic affairs, stated, “Unfortunately, the government hasn’t solved the economic and livelihood problems of the people of the society as it should have.”
Noting that the main source of economic troubles in the country is due to the weak management and mismanagement of the officials, the university and seminary professor stated, “For many years, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution [Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei] has been emphasizing upon the implementation of the Resistance Economy in the country, but this important action has been neglected by the officials.”
Hujjat al-Islam Alimoradi noted that the implementation of the Resistance Economy is the main solution to the economic problems facing Iran and said, “Unfortunately, some believe there are no distinctions between the Resistance Economy and austerity.”
His Eminence added, “With the implementation of the Resistance Economy, strength and internal aptitudes are strengthened and the country’s economic system becomes impervious to foreign sanctions and threats, while the underlying principles of austerity involve imposing economic restrictions on society.”
He pointed to the United States’ violations of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), saying, “Government officials considered solving the country’s economic problems through the presence of foreign investors in the country. For this reason, most of the government’s time in power was spent on negotiating the JCPOA.”
Pointing out that the continuity of the country’s economic problems has had a profound negative impact on the lives and livelihoods of the people, Hujjat al-Islam Alimoradi stressed, “Officials and government executives must stop their slogans and take jihadi actions within the remaining years.”
Saying that the simple living among officials is an undeniable necessity for an Islamic system, he noted, “Officials who are drowned in comfort and serenity, can never understand the problems of the poor and helpless classes of society.”
The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution has said that part of these economic problems are caused by internal imprudence and mismanagement, irrespective of the sanctions imposed on the country by the United States, after President Donald Trump unilaterally pulled out of the landmark 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) nuclear deal signed between Iran and the P5+1 group of countries on May 8, 2018.
