RNA – In his Friday prayer sermon delivered to a large and fervent crowd of believers in Qom’s Qods Prayer Hall, Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad Sa’idi commemorated the Days of Dignity, which marks the eleven days between the birth anniversaries of Lady Fatimah al-Ma’sumah and her brother Imam Ali al-Ridha, and said, “This holiday was established several years ago by the administration of the Holy Shine of Lady Fatimah al-Ma’sumah and today, it has become widespread both inside and outside the country and is celebrated on these days.”
The custodian of the Holy Shrine of Lady Fatimah al-Ma’sumah referred to the conditions facing Iran and the brilliant administration of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, and said, “The examination of the special measures taken by the Supreme Leader in recent months has demonstrated that on the economic battlefield, he uses all the capabilities to help the government.”
He added, “Recently, the Supreme Council for Economic Coordination was established under the direct command of the Supreme Leader to confront the wickedness of the United States’ war room against Iran’s economy. It’s obvious that the daily routine and the lack of activism among some led to the arrival of the Supreme Leader on the field and also led the heads of the three branches of the government and senior economic officials to gather together to tackle and solve the heavy economic problems.”
Ayatollah Sa’idi said, “So far, several meetings have been held by this council with the presence of the three branches of the government and economic officials and it is hoped that by breaking the stereotypical spells and abandoning unprofitable promises, there will be strong measures to reduce the economic pressures on society, especially in the currency market and in the banking and monetary systems of the country.”
In regard to international issues, the representative of the Supreme Leader in Qom said, “The dispatching of a consultant in international affairs by the Supreme Leader and the president to Russia is a sign of the concern of the Supreme Leader to solve the country’s problems. Using his unmatched regional and global image, the Supreme Leader made the work easier and smoother for the government and the diplomatic system.”
He added, “A deep and precise look at the issues that the Supreme Leader is implementing these days demonstrates that he is pursuing two main goals with these measures – the first objective is his maximum efforts to maintain the Islamic Revolution and the interests of the people in the context of the economic war which are also beyond the ordinary responsibilities of the Supreme Leader.”
Ayatollah Sa’idi said, “The second goal is to guide, strengthen and complete the work of the government and the officials. In a situation where the Supreme Leader has personally come to the field in a short period of time and has tried through various ways to make the movement of the state more fluid. It’s necessary that all the officials of the system apply themselves with more seriousness than before and beyond the stereotypical methods.”
The Friday prayer leader of Qom added, “Economic corruption and corrupt individuals must be dealt with without consideration. The officials must take more urgent and more effective action to reduce the economic pressures on the people. If among the officials, those who are not inefficient and God forbid, are self-interested, they must be quickly dismissed and empowered, efficient and jihadi managers who are free from any political line and workflow must be hired.”
Referring to the upcoming Hajj pilgrimage, he referred to the visit of the Supreme Leader to the Hajj organisers and noted, “The Supreme Leader described the Hajj as a mixture of spirituality and politics and the most important part of the pilgrimage was the assemblage of Muslims at a specific time and place. For this reason, no one has the right to hinder the realization of the true concepts of Hajj.”
Ayatollah Sa’idi said, “If the government and the administration want to prevent the Hajj and all its components from taking place, they have ‘bared people from the way of God.’ Some have aligned with a country such as the imperialist United States, because of their stupidity, ignorance and aggression. These days, when talking about Palestine, they talk about ‘Deal of the Century.’ The Supreme Leader said that the evil goal of the Deal of the Century won’t be realized and the Palestinian issue will not be forgotten by the enemies blindly and Jerusalem al-Quds will remain the capital of Palestine.”
