RNA – In a meeting with high-ranking teachers from the Islamic Seminaries of Qom, Mashhad, Tehran and Esfahan, Grand Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani stressed that protecting the Islamic Revolution is one of the greatest obligations and added that it is the duty of the clergy to protect the Islamic Revolution.
The distinguished teacher of dars al-kharij in the Islamic Seminary of Qom considered Wilayat al-Faqih [Guardianship of the Jurisprudent] as one of the fruits of the Islamic Revolution and stated, “All of the efforts of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution [Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei] are made to solve problems and protect the dignity of the people.”
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani also referred to the current problems facing Iran and said that correct management was the way out of the problems and stated, “Unity, solidarity and trust in the people and internal power and distrust in the enemies can have an affect on the success of the country.”
The revered source of emulation said that fortunately, the Islamic Seminaries are revolutionary and must remain revolutionary and stressed, “In the first stage, the revolutionary seminary requires a jurisprudent. One jurisprudent must work in the field of jurisprudence as well as in the field of jihad. Cultural, political, economics, justice, beliefs, worship, moral requirements and other requirements for the happiness and guidance of man are explained in religious studies.”
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani considered indifference and weakness as a retardation and stated, “A scholar must recognize his time and be a crier and express the words of the people. The enemies are afraid of the voice of the jurisprudents and throughout the history of our jurists, they have been present on the two fronts of jurisprudence and jihad and were the ‘people of combat.’ Some of these scholars and jurisprudents are explained in the book ‘Shuhada al-Fadhilah’ [‘Martyrs of Virtue’ by Allamah Abdul-Husayn Amini].”
In the past few months, Iran has faced turbulent developments in its foreign exchange and gold markets.
