RNA – Speaking at a meeting on Thursday night with Mohammad-Reza Pour-Ebrahimi, the chairman of the Economic Affairs Committee of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, Ayatollah Abdonnabi Namazi said, “The people are not satisfied with the situation of the market and the unfair selling of currencies.”

The Friday prayer leader of Kashan emphasized the attitude of the officials towards those who are disrupting the economic and currency and coinage markets and are in search of economic chaos in the country and added, “Opportunistic and exploitative individuals who harm the economy of the country must be dealt with in a serious way so that nobody one dares to disrupt the economy.”

He also considered the wealth and capital in the monotheistic view of the Quran as sensitive and important and said, “The wealth and capital of the Islamic system is tantamount to the flow of the blood in the veins of mankind, which, if caused by the smallest problem, will bring death to man.”

Ayatollah Namazi continued, “The repercussions of some events in society causes concern among the people and today, when the country is facing a full-fledged economic war by the enemies, it has created a sensitive situation for us, and society and the people must be in peace and the people must trust the authorities in order to achieve victory against the enemies in the economic field.”

At the beginning of this meeting, Mohammad-Reza Pour-Ebrahimi, the chairman of the Economic Committee of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, referred to the inflammation of the country’s economic environment and said, “Currently, in accordance with the current conditions of the country’s economy, decisions must be taken that can calm the country’s economic market.”

He noted that the economic situation in the country is manageable and added, “We see no deadlock in the economy of the country. For this reason, the economy of the country will not stop despite the imposition of sanctions by on the enemies.”

According to him, the imposition of sanctions by the enemies would increase the cost for the country’s economy, but our art is to make these costs as small as possible.

Noting that sometimes, instead of throwing water on the economic problems of the country, we throw gasoline and enflame it, Pour-Ebrahimi said, “For the past three months, we have insisted that the misguided foreign exchange policy is wrong, but it hasn’t been given any attention.”

Also, Sayyed Javad Sa’datinejad, the representative of the people of Kashan, Aran and Bidgol in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, also pointed to the troublesome situation in the foreign exchange and coinage market in the country and said, “This situation has created unfavourable conditions and caused anxiety in the country’s economic sphere.”

He added, “People expect the president, who won the election with an economic slogan based on the trust of the people, to fulfill his promises today and create stable conditions in the area of currency exchange.”
