Dean of al-Mustafa International University:
Rasa – Ayatollah Arafi said, “Today everyone knows that the Islamic Republic of Iran has been pursuing peaceful nuclear activities and in the framework of the JCPOA, it continues to face the oppressive sanctions of the West but these sanctions have led to the spread of knowledge and the achievement of high scientific success.”

RNA – In a meeting on June 23 with a group of academic and cultural elites from Syria who were invited to Iran by the University of Islamic Denominations, Ayatollah Alireza Arafi said, “According to international statistics, our country is ranked first in the field of scientific development. New academic branches of studies have been designed for the development of our country.”

 

This member of the Supreme Council of the Seminary added, “Our country is confronted by the sanctions imposed by the enemies but the scientific developments and achievements made by Iran are very desirable. History has shown that when humanity does not surrender to various waves and strives harder, their brilliance and value of their actions have doubled.”

 

Ayatollah Arafi stressed, “Today everyone knows that the Islamic Republic of Iran has been pursuing peaceful nuclear activities and in the framework of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), it continues to face the oppressive sanctions of the West but these sanctions have led to the spread of knowledge and the achievement of high scientific success.”

 

Referring to the works and blessings of the Islamic Revolution in the field of scientific progress, His Eminence added, “There are 2,000 universities active in the country in which four million students are studying.”

 

Noting that al-Mustafa International University was developed after the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the dean of al-Mustafa International University said, “Attention to Islamic unity, dialogue with other religions and the cultures of other countries and addressing the Islamic humanities, including the policies of the Islamic Seminaries and al-Mustafa International University.”

 

He expressed hope that this visit would expand cooperation between Iran and Syria and that the Syrian people will be victorious against the terrorist groups and that peace and stability will be maintained in this country.

 

In conclusion, Ayatollah Arafi said that al-Mustafa International University is the only Islamic centre that provides Islamic jurisprudence with the religious approach of its scholars and researchers and added, “The transparent and formal movement in international arena is considered as one of the most important features of al-Mustafa International University.”
