RNA – In a meeting with the representative of the Wali al-Faqih [Guardian-Jurist] in Gilan province, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Hoseyni-Eshkevari, “We are obliged to support you as a representative of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution [Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei] in Gilan.”
The representative of the people of Gilan province in the Assembly of Experts introduced Gilan province as a busy province and added, “Gilan province has many problems, the most important of which is unemployment.”
Emphasizing that the province of Gilan is one of the most expensive provinces of the country, he said, “Unfortunately, the status of the livelihoods of the people of Gilan is worrying.”
Ayatollah Hoseyni-Eshkevari explained the current state of the economy in Iran and stated, “Presently, the country is suffering from economic problems and the propaganda of foreign enemies has caused more problems.”
Referring to the high costs of housing, currency, gold and vehicles, the teacher in the Islamic Seminary of Qom said, “Today, the enemies view economic pressure as a way of making the people dissatisfied the people and putting pressure on the Islamic system.”
He said the unity and integrity of the Iranian people and officials was the only way to confront the trickery of the enemies and added, “The officials must avoid political discord and oppression against each other and stand firmly against the enemies of the Islamic Revolution.”
Ayatollah Hoseyni-Eshkevari referred to the unfaithfulness of the American government and other enemies of the Islamic Revolution [Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei] and noted, “That the officials want to accuse one another and attack each other is not in the favour of the system.”
His Eminence emphasized that all officials should fully obey the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, adding, “The officials are bound to respond to their own people and imagine that establishing relations with some countries in the world is the solution to the problems of the country but they must know that the other party is disloyal.”
He stated that the officials must heed the words and instructions of the Supreme Leader and said, “None of the officials are infallible but some officials are not ready to amend or change their work process.”
Ayatollah Hoseyni-Eshkevari emphasized that if a mistake is made, the perpetrator must confess his mistakes and change his course of action and added, “I do not intend to accuse any officials but actions must have been applied much earlier in order to realize the Resistance Economy.”
Emphasizing the need for special attention to be given to the Islamic Seminaries, he said, “The seminaries, especially in the province of Gilan, can play a role in protecting the cultural areas.”
