RNA – In an exclusive interview with the parliamentary correspondent of the Rasa News Agency, Hujjat al-Islam Ahmad Salek-Kashani, the representative of the people of Esfahan in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, said that given the conditions facing the world today, it essential for the Islamic world to come together in unity.


The member the Representatives of Guardianship Fraction in the Islamic Consultative Assembly said that the transferal of the embassy of the United States in the illegal Zionist entity from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem al-Quds on May 14th prompted the anger of the people of world and said, “This action by the United States has been marked by consensus among the Islamic world and non-Islamic countries against Israel and the United States.”


Emphasizing that today, we are facing a situation where the green light of the United States led to the massive massacre of Palestinians on Nakbah Day by Israel, Hujjat al-Islam Salek-Kashani added, “On this day, the military forces of Zionist regime martyred 65 people and injured more than 2,000 Palestinians.”


He emphasized, “This deep-rooted and brutal American and Israeli approach to the resistant nations must be taken into consideration because it is of great importance.”
 

Hujjat al-Islam Salek-Kashani argued that it is necessary for the Islamic and non-Islamic countries to maintain their unity in support of the Palestinian people and added, “I am confident that Israel will disappear.”


Israeli forces killed at least 62 Palestinians during protests near the border fence between the Gaza Strip and the illegal Zionist entity on the eve of the 70th anniversary of Nakbah Day (Day of Catastrophe), which coincided with the relocation of the embassy of the United States from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem al-Quds.


More than 2,700 Palestinians were also wounded as the Israeli forces used snipers, airstrikes, tank fire and tear gas to target the demonstrators.
