RNA – In an exclusive interview with Rasa News Agency, Hujjat al-Islam Askar Dirbaz referred to the transfer of the embassy of the United States in the illegal Zionist entity from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem al-Quds, saying, “Unfortunately, Western governments are trying to present the usurper Zionist regime as a powerful state.”
The representative of the people of West Azerbaijan province in the Assembly of Experts added, “The Zionists suppose they can do whatever they want, while the Islamic ummah has come to the conclusion that Palestine is a part of the Islamic ummah and will never allow any harm to come to this land.”
Hujjat al-Islam Dirbaz said, “It is certain that the noble people of Palestine, in both the Gaza Strip and the West Bank of the Jordan River, demonstrated their patience and perseverance and protected their dignity through their resistance against the imperialist system.”
He said that although some European countries backed the American action to recognize Tel Aviv as the capital of the false regime of Israel on paper, this issue has no value among the Islamic ummah.
The senior Iranian politician stated that until today, the heroic Palestinian people have shown that they have persevered with their iron will against oppression and have reached their demands and goals.
Referring to the important role of the Islamic scholars in defending the rights of the oppressed Palestinian people, Hujjat al-Islam Dirbaz said, “We are on the eve of the holy month of Ramadhan. Undoubtedly, through their missionary work during this month, the ‘masters of the pen and the pulpit’ can reveal the true nature of the usurping Zionist regime and its allies to the Islamic ummah.”
His Eminence stressed that if the Muslims of the world were to exercise restraint in regard to the cruel actions of the United States and their allies, the pressure on the Muslims will increase day by day and said, “The encouragement of the spirit of endurance and resistance, as it exists in Lebanon, Syria and Iraq, is the best thing that the Islamic ummah can offer to the Palestinian people.”
On May 14th, the United States officially announced the opening of its new embassy to Israel in Jerusalem al-Quds amid deadly Israeli crackdown on peaceful protests by Palestinians in the occupied territories.
