RNA – In an exclusive interview with Reza News Agency, Hujjat al-Islam Javad Mojtahed-Shabestari, a representative of the people of West Azerbaijan province in the Assembly of Experts, said, “In his statements, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution [Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei] has repeatedly considered aristocracy and the tendency towards a luxurious lifestyle to be blights against the Islamic Revolution and has called them ‘reactionary.’”

Referring to the origin of the arrogant spirit and excesses among some officials, Hujjat al-Islam Mojtahed-Shabestari pointed out, “Certainly, those who have not educated themselves in regards to Islamic and divine customs, worship and obedience to the commandments of religion will not remain in their hearts and as a result, moral adversity will develop in them.”
