RNA – In his Friday prayer sermon delivered to a large and fervent crowd of believers in Qom’s Qods Prayer Hall, Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad Sa’idi commemorated Labour Day, saying, “In some countries, such as France, which claim to have freedom, we have witnessed that workers have faced violence while these countries are claimants of having human rights.”
In regard to National Teachers’ Day, which is celebrated on the martyrdom anniversary of Martyr Ayatollah Mortaza Motahhari, a notorious intellectual and teacher, the custodian of the Holy Shrine of Lady Fatimah al-Ma’sumah said, “Teachers can create a civilization because they are the second people to educate the children after their parents. Teachers can widely influence the peoples’ lives.”
“Martyr Motahhari was an absolute example of a teacher who explained pure Islam through logic,” Ayatollah Sa’idi added.
He mentioned the nation-wide celebrations of the birth anniversary of the Imam of the Time, Muhammad al-Mahdi, calling it “an ideal culture” adding, “This culture must be taken into consideration by Muslims. They must be prepared for the global ruling of the Imam of the Time.”
In another part of his Friday prayer, Ayatollah Sa’idi emphasized the necessity of using Iranian-manufactured products adding, saying, “Paying attention to domestically-manufactured products must be a number one priority for everyone.”
“The promotion of the use of Iranian-manufactured products must be advertised so that people know its significance. Unfortunately some profit-seeking people present Iranian goods with foreign brand names in the market and through such actions, they betray the people and the country,” he added.
