Head of the Islamic Seminary of Ilam:
Rasa – Hujjat al-Islam Morad-Beygi said that in this past Arba’in, the Islamic Seminaries of Mehran and Dehloran hosted about 20,000 pilgrims.

RNA – Hujjat al-Islam Wa’ad Morad-Beygi, the head of the Islamic Seminary of Ilam, was interviewed by Hawzah News Agency about helping with earthquake relief efforts in Kermanshah and other seminary activities in Ilam province. 


In the interview, Hujjat al-Islam Morad-Beygi stated that the Islamic Seminaries of Ilam province have about 450 students and 33 professors.


Answering a question regarding the Islamic Seminary of Ilam’s role in preparing activities for the Arba’in pilgrimage, head of the Islamic Seminary of Ilam referred to the launch of Ilam’s Arba’in headquarters four years ago and asserted, “Arba’in is a great epic for the Islamic world and it is our duty to help it happen as magnificent as possible.” 


He emphasized the importance of practicing and showcasing Islamic unity in the Arba’in pilgrimage and said, “We should try to introduce it as a pure Islamic event, not an event to spark discord among Muslims.”


Hujjat al-Islam Morad-Beygi announced that in this past Arba’in, the seminaries of Iranian cities of Mehran and Dehloran assisted in Arba’in programs and hosted about 20,000 pilgrims.


Explaining the Islamic Seminary of Ilam’s participation in the Kermanshah earthquake relief efforts, Hujjat al-Islam Morad-Beygi stated, “500 tents and houses of the earthquake-struck people were visited by the seminary clerics.” 


He added, “The Islamic Seminary of Ilam distributed 20,000 cans of canned food, 30,000 bottles of mineral water, 5,000 loaves of bread, 2,000 packets of date fruits, etc. among those struck by the Kermanshah earthquake.”
