RNA – In his Friday prayer sermon to a large and fervent crowd of believers in Qom’s Quds Prayer Hall, Ayatollah Seyyed Hashem Hoseyni-Bushehri referred to the upcoming of the month of Rajab, said, “There have been strange interpretations of the blessed months of Rajab, Sha’ban and Ramadhan made which shows the importance of these months.”

The member of the Supreme Council of the Seminary said, “The blessed month of Rajab is a great moon wherein God sends mercy upon His servants. This month is the month of prayer, mystery and need. On the first day of Rajab, we celebrate the birth anniversary of Imam Muhammad al-Baqir and on the third day of this month, which coincides with Norouz [the Iranian New Year], we commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Ali al-Hadi.”

Referring to the anniversary of Oil Nationalization Day, which occurred on March 15, 1951, he noted, “The nationalization of Iran’s oil industry was a step towards the independence of the country and we must insist on the independence of the country and eliminate the goals of the enemies.”

Referring to the official meeting of the Assembly of Experts with the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei, Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri said, “During this meeting, the members of the Assembly of Experts discussed the most important cultural, social and economic concerns and livelihoods of the people. As the representatives of the people, members of the Assembly of Experts expressed what they needed.”

The member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom continued, “One of the actions of the recent meetings was the formation of a think-tank, which was emphasized upon by the Supreme Leader, in order to observe the course of the Islamic Revolution in order to achieve its goals. We must examine whether we have progressed or have regressed and stopped. If the Assembly of Experts can perform a great accomplishment in discovering the dangers facing society, they will have been successful in achieving the goals of the revolution.”

Referring to the orders of the Supreme Leader at the meeting, he noted, “Ayatollah Khamenei insisted that the future is clear for the Islamic establishment and that the officials are aware of the livelihood difficulties and other problems of the Iranian people but believes that there is no unsolvable problem for the country.”

His Eminence announced that in the coming days, the matters in regard to this issue will be explained that this country does not rest and solutions can be provided for the country’s problems.

Referring to the doubts spread about the hijab, which is one of the incontestable beliefs of Islam, Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri said, “Unfortunately, some people who claim knowledge, question the hijab. Hijab is considered as a religious doctrine and everyone who believes in the verses, the narrations and conduct of Ahlul-Bayt, especially that of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra, must accept the hijab.”

Qom’s Friday Prayer Leader added, “The West propagates nudity woman and they want women to follow their pleasures. The Supreme Leader said that men are fully and well-dressed in the West but women are told to be naked in order to make others happy.”

The member of the board of directors of the Assembly of Experts stressed that hijab is a fundamental pillar of women’s defense and added, “We want women to be protected in society and some people, by breaking the norms, want to question this religious principle. Our revolutionary and Islamic society is not willing to place our thoughts and behaviour under the influence of Western culture.”

Referring to the attack on the Iranian embassy in London on March 9th, Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri said, “When Muhammad ibn Salman [the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia] was a guest of the British government, the [government of the United Kingdom] performed a welcome dance for their guests and known agents lowered Iran’s flag at the embassy and insulted it. Although their faces were known, the people are more aware and various organizations condemned this malicious move.”

He pointed out, “The Iranian people strongly condemn such actions, which certainly do not have religious origins. The Supreme Leader said that we do not accept the ‘American Sunnism’ or ‘English Shi’ism.’ We must not allow the opposing party to depict this movement as oppressed. Any movement which depicts this movement as oppressed does not fit the interests of the Revolution.”
