RNA – According to Rasa News Agency, Grand Ayatollah Hoseyn Nouri-Hamadani met with Mufaddal Sayfuddin, the chairman of the India’s Aligarh Muslim University, at the office of his source of emulation in the holy Iranian city of Qom.
His Eminence referred Islamic roots of science, saying, “The science that is at the disposal of the world has Arab and Quranic roots. If we pay attention, we see that the terminology of various sciences such as medicine, mathematics, geography, political science and other sciences is Arabic. Arabic is the language of Islam and the Quran and anywhere that science exists in the world, it originates from Islam.”
He said, “From the beginning, Islamic science was associated with monotheism and the remembrance of God and originated from the verses of wisdom and power of God in the Quran but the West tried to secularize these sciences, and this is one of the catastrophes that has arose for science.”
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani said it is the duty of Muslims to restore the honour and greatness of Islam and noted, “History is a great testimony that at the time when there were no universities or libraries in the whole world, the great cities of Islam had large universities and today, it is our duty to revive and restore the greatness of Islam.”
The revered teacher in the Islamic Seminary of Qom added, “Today, when the enemies who have risen up against Islam and the arrogant powers, hypocrites and the Zionists are united, the scholars of Islam must not remain silent.”
His Eminence continued, “Today, the enemies’ method to counter Islam is to create division and dissension among Muslims and the situation in Iraq, Syria, Bahrain and Yemen represents the plans of the enemies against Islam.”
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani emphasized that Saudi Arabia is a lackey of the United States and the Zionists and this country will never be united with us for Islam. We do not work with politicians who are inclined to the United States, France and the Zionists but Islam says that all Muslims must be united and help the oppressed and the weak.
In conclusion, the source of emulation stated, “Today, we have to work with unity and solidarity in order to overcome the enemies and we must try to awaken the people of India, so that the greatness of Islam in the world can be restored and we can freely liberate Jerusalem al-Quds.”
