RNA – Speaking with a group of officials from Iran’s armed forces, Grand Ayatollah Hoseyn Nouri-Hamadani said that being thankful for the blessings of God will increase His blessings and stated, “One of the great blessings of God is that God granted us this Islamic Revolution because it has caused our people to determine the destiny of their country.”
The revered source of emulation stressed that this revolution saved Iran from the domination of the West, “For this reason, we always insist that preservation of the revolution is obligatory because it was achieved through the blood of the martyrs but we must know that the martyrs were acting in the name of Imam al-Husayni but now, we must act in the name of Lady Zaynab so that this great divine blessing, the Islamic Revolution, remains magnificent and dignified forever.”
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani considered Islam as one of the main pillars of the revolution and noted, “In the past, Islam was marginalized but Imam Khomeyni was able to bring pure Muhammadan Islam into the lives of the people. For this reason, we must work toward maintaining our religious values and oppose those who are against these values.”
The teacher in the Islamic Seminary of Qom further stressed to the officials, “You must try to be revolutionary and to appreciate the revolution. The people are the second pillar of the revolution because the people came to the scene until the revolution achieved victory. Thus, you must know the value of the people and serve them.”
He described Wilayat al-Faqih [Guardianship of the Jurisprudent] as the third pillar of the Islamic Revolution, saying, “Wilayat al-Faqih is the reason for the victory of the revolution. In some countries there are no jurisprudents to proceed but the Iranian people proceeded on the axis of the jurisprudent and achieved victory. Unity between Shi’ahs and Sunnis is one of the blessings of the revolution, while in the past, antagonism existed between them.”
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani stated that the Islamic Revolution had granted the people self-confidence because they were humble in the face of the arrogant powers and kings before the revolution but today they are brave and stand against the United States and the Zionists and thus, we must speak and participate with bravery because God loves the brave.
He stressed that the arrogant powers, with their malicious souls, are never willing to come to terms with Muslims and said, “They are always enemies with us and we must eradicate Israel and enemies like it.”
