Rasa – The representative of Khuzestan province in the Assembly of Experts said, “The negation of Wilayat al-Faqih as the most important pillar of the establishment has been on the agenda of the enemies for the past 40 years.”
RNA – In an interview with Rasa News Agency, Ayatollah Abbas Ka’bi, the representative of the people of Khuzestan province in the Assembly of Experts, said that Wilayat al-Faqih [Guardianship of the Jurisprudent] is the most important element of Iran’s Islamic establishment and is a strong barrier against the enemies’ demands, influence and deviation, which is why it has always been the target of many enemies and ill-wishers.
“They know that as long as the authority and the credibility of the Iranian leadership and the support of the people exists, their projects and their plots will not achieve any result, just as has been witnessed far where the enemies have suffered many defeats,” he said.
Ayatollah Ka’bi said, “The negation of Wilayat al-Faqih as the most important pillar of the establishment has been on the agenda of the enemies for the past 40 years and the general policy of the hegemonic and arrogant powers is to remove this important pillar. For this reason, the enemies have been pursuing their goals though conspiracies and plans, such as delegitimizing the principle of theory of Wilayat al-Faqih and fighting against the acceptance and credibility of the legal and truthful personality of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution [Ayatollah Khamenei].”
The senior Iranian cleric noted that recently, the “Mi6 Shi’ah” phenomenon, which has attempted to portray a religious and spiritual image of themselves, has displayed their true facade, which is against the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Republic of Iran, by issuing attacks against Wilayat al-Faqih through their extraordinary and insolent declarations, attacking the sanctity of the epic eight-year-long Sacred Defense [Iran-Iraq War] and making unfounded claims against the Islamic establishment.
He said, “The Islamic Revolution was the cornerstone of the formation of the theory of Islamic civilization, the elimination of global tyranny and colonialism and was the beginning of the era of the rule of religion and the dignity of the Shi’ahs and the Islamic ummah in the international arena.”
“It is evident that against the sincere struggle of Imam Khomeyni which is the product of the Islamic Seminary, the Shi’ah sources of emulation, the clergy, the school of the Ahlul-Bayt and pure Muhammadan Islam that the imperialist powers and the sworn enemies of Islam and the school of the Ahlul-Bayt, the United States, Zionists and the United Kingdom have not sat idly by,” His Eminence added.
Ayatollah Ka’bi said that the unrelenting attacks by the enemies against Wilayat al-Faqih, the sources of emulation, the clergy and the Islamic Seminary have been part of their plans since the victory of the Islamic Revolution and added, “In the first stage, they planned to establish dissension and disagreement among the Iranian people and the create disagreement between the sources of emulation.”
