Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani:
Rasa – In a meeting with the deputy chief of Iran’s judiciary’s cultural affairs department, Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani said that during the past few years and throughout history, the West has not surrendered to Islam and will not and the West’s conflict and confrontation with Islam will continue.
RNA – Grand Ayatollah Hoseyn Nouri-Hamadani met with Hujjat al-Islam Hadi Sadeghi, the deputy chief of Iran’s judiciary’s cultural affairs department, and an accompanying delegation, at the office of the revered source of emulation in the holy city of Qom.
His Eminence referred to the great blessings of God Almighty on humankind and said, “God bestowed grace upon the believers, from among whom a prophet arose whose first work was to recite the verses of the Holy Quran and besides guiding the people, he was not negligent of jihad in the way of God.”
He added that the Prophet of Islam [Muhammad] and his Purified Family have made many recommendations for knowledge and the role of Iranians in accessing these knowledge is important, in some narrations and sources, it is said, “If knowledge were located in the Pleiades, the Persians would surely attain it.”
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani said, the first commandment of God to the Prophet Muhammad, was to recite the Holy Quran and said, “In their use of the Holy Quran, Muslims must pay attention to the words first, then the translation, then the interpretation and after that, they can enter into the stage of action.”
The renowned source of emulation noted, “In the commentary of ‘Tafsir al-Mizan,’ wisdom has been interpreted in accordance to the principles of values. Among each nation, there are principles and values that the nation behaves in regards to.”
Referring to the history of Western invasions to the Islamic world, he said, “The West has the same spirit of the hegemony of the past. The Battle of Tabuk can be used as an example of the actions of the Prophet Muhammad towards the West as even the Prophet of Islam mobilized the army of Usamah ibn Zayd to fight the West of that time [the Romans].”
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani said that during the past few years and throughout history, the West has not surrendered to Islam and will not and the West’s conflict and confrontation with Islam will continue and added, “Although the arrogant powers were called a superpower before the Islamic Revolution, the revolution pulled the veils off their face and everyone has realized this.”
In another part of his speech, he noted the importance of protecting the judiciary in Iran, saying, “The judiciary is a key pillar of the Islamic establishment.”
Referring to the report by the deputy chief of the judiciary’s cultural affairs department on the cultural activities of the judiciary, Hujjat al-Islam Sadeghi was asked to publish a report on the activities of the judiciary, in order to familiarize the people with these activities.
In conclusion, Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani noted, “The record of Ayatollah Sadegh Amoli-Larijani as the Chief Justice of Iran this year was good.”
