RNA – According to Rasa News Agency, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Sajid Ali Naqawi, chairman of the Imamiyah Scholars’ Council of Pakistan, referred to the recent anti-Pakistan statements and actions of the United States and called them “a result of their colonial nature.”
The head of the Imamiyah Scholars’ Council of Pakistan emphasized that it is not possible for Pakistan to be an ally of any colonial power.
“In fact they always seek their own interests, and today it's time that Pakistan, by knowing these enemies, find its true friends and stand next to them,” Hujjat al-Islam Naqawi said.
He stated, “We were against this unity and friendship [with the United States] from the first day, and we knew it wasn’t honest and we saw it today.”
Hujjat al-Islam Naqawi called for “unification of all groups, political parties and social classes” as a “need for the Pakistani society of today, in order to take a firm stand against the United States.”
