RNA – Speaking at a ceremony commemorating the martyrdom of one of Hezbollah’s members in the al-Qalilah region, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyid Hashim Safiuddin, the chairman of the Chairman of the Executive Council of Hezbollah, said, “We took positive steps regarding the election law on the basis of proportional representation. Although the system of proportional representation has been partially approved, the Lebanese people can vote with this method for the first time.”
He added that in the upcoming parliamentary elections, “We will be in a solid coalition with the Amal Movement, and this is definitive and non-revisionist.”
In another part of his remarks, the senior member of Hezbollah referred to the latest developments in the region, saying, “The entire world is facing a new scene after the victories in Syria and Iraq, and the enemies of the Islamic Resistance are looking for solutions but will never achieve it.”
Pointing to the “futile efforts of the United States and Saudi Arabia,” he said, “We have no worries about this, and we will surely come out victorious because it is not the time of failure, but the era of resistance and victories.”
Criticizing Saudi Arabia’s policies in the region Hujjat al-Islam Safiuddin said, “If Saudi Arabia claims to be an Arab state, we should forget about our Arab roots, because an Arab cannot keep people hungry, prevent drugs from reaching children and kill tens of thousands. A state that is after tyranny and massacre of the Yemeni people is at its worth position ever.”
“We have no choice but to become powerful in face of American savagery in the world and specially in Palestine, Saudi Arabia’s brutality in Yemen and trial and religious conspiracies, and we have to prepare ourselves for the next war,” he emphasized.
The chairman of the Executive Council of Hezbollah noted, “The Resistance and victories have pushed the compasses back into a real and natural conflict between Muslims and Zionists in pursuit of liberation of Jerusalem al-Quds.”
