Iranian Sunni Cleric:
Rasa – Akhound Onagh slammed the United States for masterminding plots to exploit Islamic countries and said Washington has rightly proved its leading role in creating such seditions.
RNA – In an interview with the media, Akhound Ghorban Mohammad Onagh, the Sunni prayer leader of the Iranian port city of Bandar-e Torkaman, referred to capabilities of the Islamic Awakening Movements in some Islamic countries and said the uprising has been contained by world arrogant powers and their puppets.
He slammed the arrogant powers for creating Takfiri groups and harassing Iraq and Syria through the past several years.
The manager of the Azamiyeh Sunni seminary in Bandar-e Torkaman slammed the arrogant powers of the world for launching the 2009 riots in order to create a so-called Iranian Spring against the Islamic Revolution and stressed, “This sedition, if materialized, could lead to insecurities and destruction much worse than the one created by extremist Daesh movement in Iraq and Syria.”
Akhound Onagh added, “The vigilance of the Iranian nation and authorities foiled the plots by the enemies and prevented the materialization of the objectives by domestic deviants.”
The Iranian Sunni cleric referred to the emphasis by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, regarding distrust in the US since Washington is merely in pursuit of hatching evil plots in the Islamic countries.
“If Muslim nations, were inspired by insightful Iranian nation to maintain their unity and choose a leader, they could have witnessed better fates for their countries,” Akhound Onagh noted.
