Rasa – Ayatollah al-Hakim said, “University students need to preserve their genuine Islamic teachings and cultural values.”
RNA – Senior Iraqi Shi’ah cleric, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammad Sa’id al-Hakim, received a group of university students from Imam al-Kadhim University in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad on Sunday, December 31.
During the meeting, the Shi’ah source of emulation advised youth to stay vigilant and commit themselves to their religion, beliefs and genuine Islamic values.
“You must reinforce your religious beliefs day by day in order to strengthen them within Shi’ah community so that enemies’ conspiracies and present world conditions cannot undermine your beliefs,” Ayatollah al-Hakim said.
He added, “University students need to preserve their genuine Islamic teachings and cultural values. they must also respect senior clerics and scholars. Every young person has a role to play within the society. they should promote virtues in the society and forbid wrong actions. They must also try their best to preserve their religious beliefs as well as others’ so that they won’t be deceived by the enemy and their corrupt thoughts.”
