Rasa – The representative of the people of Khuzestan province in the Assembly of Experts said, “By using their media empire and psychological warfare, the enemies want to show that the Iranian people have been distanced from the Islamic Revolution, while this is not true and the people are adhering to Islam.”
RNA – In an interview with Rasa News Agency, Ayatollah Abbas Ka’bi, the representative of the people of Khuzestan province in the Assembly of Experts, commemorated the anniversary of the end of the sedition of 2009, which occurred on the day of Ashura (30 December) and said, “30 December was the turning point for the conscious and passionate presence of the people in confronting the soft sedition of the arrogant powers and anti-revolutionary forces which sought to destroy the identity of the Islamic system.”
The member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom added that 30 December demonstrated that the dimension of the people of the Islamic Revolution became a solid, faithful and revolutionary front present on the frontlines during a time of danger and said, “This believing and revolutionary front represents the inherent strength of the Islamic Revolution and the depth of the nation’s faith in the Islamic system and its divine leadership.”
He argued that 30 December, just like the Anniversary of the Islamic Revolution [11 February] and al-Quds Day [last Friday of Ramadhan], was recorded in the history of the Iranian nation, he said, “If al-Quds Day is the International Day of the Islamic Revolution and the Anniversary of the Islamic Revolution is the Day of the Revival of Allegiance to the Islamic System, 30 December is the day of the insightful presence of the Iranian people on the frontlines to confront the sedition which was designed to bring about the complete collapse of the Islamic system.”
Ayatollah Ka’bi provided an analysis of the sedition of 2009 and continued, “30 December demonstrated that the Islamic Revolution had been insured by the believing, vigilant and sincere front of the strong and revolutionary people. The United States, the international Zionists and the arrogant and deceitful think-tanks of the arrogant powers who designed the soft coup d’état were at the head of this sedition.”
His Eminence stated that the presidential election of 2005 was the first spark of the sedition and reached fruition in 2009 and added, “With the presence of the roaring, Ashura’i, zealous and believing people of the Iranian nation, the sedition of 2009 was ended but it’s possible that the sedition has been redesigned with other names and labels by the arrogant powers and their mercenaries by making use of their failed experiences.”
He said, “At any time, sedition has its own form and symbol, this time the arrogant powers are investing in the despair of the people, inefficiency and legitimacy of the system and the distance between the people and the system. Revolutionary resistance, enthusiastic jihad, strengthening the spirit of hope and the emphasis on the effective dimensions of the Islamic system and the dimensions of the acceptance of the Islamic system are important.”
Ayatollah Ka’bi pointed out, “Alongside the struggle with the elitist politicians, economic corruption and the weak management, some bodies can be strong barriers against sedition. The enemies are striving to undermine the institutions which work to preserve sovereignty.”
The representative of the people of Khuzestan in the Assembly of Experts added, “By using their media empire and psychological warfare, the enemies want to show that the Iranian people have been distanced from the Islamic Revolution, while this is not true and the people are adhering to Islam, the school of the Ahlul-Bayt, the constitution and Wilayat al-Faqih [Guardianship of the Jurisprudent]. They love the divine leadership and they will be present on the frontlines.”
Ayatollah Ka’bi emphasized, “On 30 December, we will see that people will reaffirm their allegiance and come to the frontlines and with their presence on the upcoming Anniversary of the Islamic Revolution [11 February], they will thwart all the enemies’ plans. 30 December is the day of the perseverance of insight and presence on the forefront and confronting the sedition of the arrogant powers and their mercenaries within the country and this day must be celebrated.”
