Head of the Association of Scholars of Tyre:
Rasa – Hujjat al-Islam Ali Yasin said, “The discourse of the sources of emulation in Iran and Iraq are in line with the prophetic teachings of the Prophet Muhammad.”
RNA – Hujjat al-Islam Ali Yasin, the head of the Association of Scholars of Tyre, met with a group of Christian clerics in the southern Lebanese city of Tyre on the occasion of the birth of Jesus Christ and the beginning of the Christian New Year.
The Lebanese Shi’ah cleric expressed his hope for continued achievements in Lebanon and said, “These achievements have come at the expense of national solidarity and agreement among the various sections of the people and played an important role in preventing hostile aggression. The golden equation of the army, nation and the Islamic Resistance represents a common coexistence in Lebanon.”
Hujjat al-Islam Yasin added that in 2017 there were a lot of achievements, one of the most important was the defeat of the Takfiri project and said, “The Islamic Resistance Axis played the main role in combating this Zionist and American project and saved Muslims, Christians and followers of other religions.”
Recently, Daesh Takfiri forces have suffered heavy blows at the hands of the Syrian and allied forces and Daesh has been defeated in Iraq.
He described the Zionist regime as a barrier to peace and noted that the decision of the President United States, Donald Trump, to recognize Jerusalem al-Quds as the “capital” of Israel and to move its embassy to the occupied city means aggression against both Christianity and Islam and all free people.
“Islamic and Christian unity is the best response to a decision that was made to compensate for the failure of the Takfiri project,” the renowned cleric stated.
His Eminence considered the developments in Syria, Iraq, Palestine and Lebanon as the reason for the victory in the region, and emphasized, “The role of the vigilant Muslim and Christian scholars whose discourse on the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Prophet Muhammad were full of strong love, participation and peace which are of great importance and this is apparent in the churches of Syria and Iraq and the sources of emulation in Iran and Iraq.”
Hujjat al-Islam Yasin noted that resistance as the only option in the region and continued, “The region has no choice but to resist and stand against Zionist and American projects that are working to undermine the brotherhood among the various sections of the people.”
