Rasa – The representative of Khorasan Razavi in the Assembly of Experts stressed that intellectual and cultural confrontation with Takfiri and Wahhabi groups is necessary and added, “The explanation of religious truths is the most important strategy for dealing with Takfiri and Wahhabi groups.”
RNA – In an interview with Rasa News Agency, Ayatollah Hasan Alemi, the representative of the people of Khorasan Razavi province in the Assembly of Experts, referred to a statement by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, in which he said that the Islamic Republic of Iran would offer assistance wherever it is needed to combat the arrogant and hegemonic powers and said, “These statements have brought hope to the oppressed people of the world and the Islamic ummah.”
The Iranian cleric added that the statements of the Supreme Leader to the participants of the “Lovers of the Ahlul-Bayt and Countering Takfiris” conference in Tehran on November 23rd are a demonstration of a comprehensive religious vision which is a cause of hope for the Islamic ummah.
More than 500 Sunni and Shi’ah scholars from 94 countries attended the conference.
He said, “The recent victories of the Islamic Resistance Front [over Daesh] are very encouraging for all those who want to take action and strive to revive Islam.”
Ayatollah Alemi continued, “The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, with his wise statements at various meetings, especially with religious and Islamic personalities, has correctly explained the Islamic path, so that people and movements will not err.”
His Eminence stated, “The most important message of this statement by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution is the intellectual saturation of the movements so that they do not err and are not influenced by the short-sightedness, lies and interpretations which arise from the weak spirit of the people and take the interests of the Islamic ummah into consideration by bypassing these limitations.”
He said, “This statement by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution had a clear message for Muslims, the enemies and the malicious people – that the Islamic Republic of Iran has always been the defender of the oppressed and the weak people of the world and always will.”
Ayatollah Alemi stressed that an intellectual and cultural confrontation with the Takfiri and Wahhabi groups was necessary and added, “Explaining religious truths is the most important way to confront Takfiri, terrorist and Wahhabi groups.”
The representative of the people of Khorasan Razavi in the Assembly of Experts added that the presentation of the correct interpretation of the Quran, the explanation and description of the role of the Ahlul-Bayt in promoting religion and the propagation of Islam and the explanation of the concepts of Hadith al-Thaqalayn must be on the agenda, and they must be explained and discussed from all aspects.
