RNA – In a meeting with a group of officials of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and Basij, Grand Ayatollah Hoseyn Nouri-Hamadani described political, intellectual, scientific, social and economic growth as one of the main concerns of Islamic teachings towards Muslims.
The revered source of emulation added, “If society is to flourish in the cultural, political and social arenas and advance their affairs by using their powers of thought and reflection, they can take steps for the future of the Islamic Revolution and the country.”
He explained that having insight saves humankind from the trap of sedition, saying, “The cultural and political growth of humankind and society requires political and social insight and the recognition of God and divine goals are very important.”
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani said, “Individuals with insight in the most difficult conditions where truth and falsehood are mixed will not make decisions in a light manner and will not be subjected to sedition. For this reason, the issue of increasing insight in society in various fields must be taken seriously.”
The teacher in the Islamic Seminary of Qom stated that the happiness of man depends on faith, the observance of piety and an understanding and awareness of God and the Ahlul-Bayt and added, “The believers will have a pure life and death and will always try to obtain divine pleasure in their lives.”
In another part of his speech, he referred to the issue of Jerusalem al-Quds and the new conspiracy of the arrogant powers against the first qiblah of the Muslims, saying, “Jerusalem al-Quds is a matter related to the Islamic ummah, which all Muslims should be sensitive to and not allow the non-believers and the Zionists to implement their decision in regard to the Islamic city of Jerusalem al-Quds.”
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani noted that Israel is a usurping and child-killing regime and wants to take over the land of Muslims by force and added, “This false regime does not have any land to establish a capital city for. We must realize the plots of the enemies of Islam and take serious action to counter them.”
On December 6, the President of the United States, Donald Trump, sparked international outrage as he declared that Washington was recognizing Jerusalem al-Quds as the “capital” of Israel and that he had instructed his administration to begin the process of moving the American embassy from Tel Aviv to the ancient city.
His Eminence added that Islam is a comprehensive religion in all fields, and contains teachings regarding political and economic issues, and Muslims must not allow the non-believers and the oppressors to have control over the Islamic and Muslim countries and live with independence through the implementation of these political and economic teachings.
