RNA – In an interview with Rasa News Agency, Ayatollah Abbas Ka’bi, the representative of the people of Khuzestan province in the Assembly of Experts, referred to the “evil action” by the United States in announcing Jerusalem al-Quds as the capital of the Zionist regime, saying, “This strategic mistake is the result of the strategic alliance between Saudi Arabia and their mercenaries in the region with the United States and the Zionist regime.”
The member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom added, “This evil decision is aimed at revealing the secretive and flagrant relationship of the Al Saud and their mercenaries in the region with the Zionists. This relationship has emboldened the United States and they thought that the grounds for excessive demands and bringing an end to the Palestinian cause had been laid out for them.”
He stressed that this inhuman action was against all religious sanctities, rights, international laws and regulations and violated the treaties with the Palestinians and peace talks.
Ayatollah Ka’bi considered the insolent actions of the United States as an end to any peace talks continued, “Everyone understood that the peace talks on the issue of Palestine only served the Zionist regime and destroyed the cause of Palestinian liberation and the restoration of the rights of the Palestinian people.”
His Eminence stated that the only way to save Palestine, liberate Jerusalem al-Quds and restore the rights of the Palestinian people and the desires of the Islamic ummah is through armed resistance and added, “In addition to social and popular support, marches and declarations of solidarity with Jerusalem al-Quds and its place in the Islamic world and condemnations of this malicious action is for the elites, academics and the various strata of the people and governments to pursue practical and serious actions to counter this action.”
He said, “All sorts of diplomatic, political, promotional and diplomatic action must continue but the main solution is to ignite an intifada in the Gaza Strip and in the West Bank, the organization of armed resistance against the Zionist regime and the condemnation of mercenary regimes such as the Al Saud and Al Khalifah, who are both working with the Americans and the Zionists in this scandalous plot.”
Ayatollah Ka’bi pointed out, “Of course this evil act by the Americans will humiliate the United States’ mercenary regimes – the Al Saud and Al Khalifah – before it harms Jerusalem al-Quds and Palestine and will also humiliate those who supported the peace talks.”
He added, “With these actions, it’s clear out that arrogant powers don’t even give attention to their own mercenaries and they don’t think of anything other than aggression.”
In conclusion, Ayatollah Ka’bi said that the United States and the Zionist regime are the main sources of sedition, crime, violations of peace treaties and aggression, violations of human rights and state terrorism and added, “The anger of the Islamic ummah and Palestinian people doesn’t have an end and the grounds for the ignition of the Islamic Awakening is based on the al-Aqsa Mosque Intifada.”
