RNA – Shaykh Mustafa Malas, the head of Lebanon’s National Solidarity Council, invited all people to participate in a demonstration of “honour and dignity of Palestine” in support of the holy city of Jerusalem al-Quds and the Palestinian cause.
The Lebanese Sunni cleric said that the people of Palestine proved to the world that no one can wipe out the issue of Palestine and the noble city of Jerusalem al-Quds from the conscience of every Muslim and Christian.
“What has happened in Palestine has once again shown that an intifada is the only way to solve the Palestinian issue and resistance is still the first option for the oppressed Palestinian people and Lebanese people,” he added.
The head of the National Solidarity Council, describing the decision by the president of the United States, Donald Trump, as “a clear violation of the rights and sanctities of the cause of Palestine and the Palestinian people,” noted that the people of Palestine and Lebanon would not allow foreigners to “insult their religious sanctities.”
At the end of his speech, Shaykh Malas invited people to participate actively in the rally, saying, “Participation in the rally is primarily in support of the noble city of Jerusalem al-Quds. We declare to the whole world that we are with Palestine and will remain with them until the end.”
