RNA – Speaking to a group of seminary students at Qom’s Hazrat Abofazl Seminary, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Abolfazl Tabatabaei-Ashkezari referred to the current situation in Syria and Islamic Resistance Front and Axis in the country and said, “Every revolution that emerges in the international arena has a hard power and a soft power.”
The representative of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution [Ayatollah Khamenei] in Syria added that soft power is the same as the power of the export of a revolution and it’s not only related to the era of the revolution. “It must be noted that the influence of the soft power of revolutions has a greater influence and is longer lasting than the power of soft power,” he added.
Hujjat al-Islam Tabatabaei-Ashkezari explained that the late founder of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeyni, always emphasized the issue of the export of the Islamic Revolution in his statements and said, “The export of the Islamic Revolution doesn’t mean the conquest of various countries, even though some also suffered from misunderstandings and misconceptions in regard to this position.”
The Iranian cleric stated, “The export of the Iranian Islamic Revolution is the same as the power of the effect and influence of the Revolution on the world stage in various countries. In other words, the export of the Islamic Revolution means the formation of a Islamic Resistance Front consisting of Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, Yemen and other countries in the region and the Islamic Resistance Front and Axis must have the same soft effect as the Islamic Revolution on the world stage.”
He added, “The Islamic Resistance Axis is the product of the soft power of the Islamic Revolution, in other words, the establishment of the Islamic Resistance Front in the region is the first and most important outcome of the export of the Islamic Revolution and the realization of Imam Khomeyni’s intention regarding the export of the Islamic Revolution.”
Hujjat al-Islam Tabatabaei-Ashkezari said that today, Daesh has been defeated in Syria and Iraq their military rule has come to an end and said, “Today, groups of Daesh forces are present only on the borders of Iraq and Syria and the destruction of Daesh’s military might is due to the presence of the fighters of the Islamic Resistance Front. The military defeat of Daesh is the greatest victory against the enemies who wanted to fragment the Islamic Resistance Front in order to secure space for the United States and its allies and bring an end to Iran’s relationship with the Islamic Resistance Front.”
He described the plots of the commanders and warriors of the Islamic Resistance Front as a precise plot and noted, “The most important victory of Iran in Iraq and Syria was the formation of the Popular Mobilization Forces and the training of the distinguished warriors and fighters of the Islamic Resistance Front, although a military victory over Daesh in itself is a great victory for the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Resistance Front.”
