RNA – In an interview with Rasa News Agency, Ayatollah Mahmoud Rajabi, a member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom, referred to the victory of the Islamic Resistance Front and the end of the Daesh Takfiri terrorist group and said, “Without doubt, this victory was in reality, a victory over the arrogant powers that brought such a complex conspiracy into the Islamic ummah.”
The deputy director of the Imam Khomeyni Education and Research Institute added, “Certainly, this victory will be a lesson for the mercenaries of the arrogant powers and the Zionists in the region who realize that they won’t be able to fulfill their evil goals by relying on the United States and the Zionists. Such mercenaries are being used as toys to fight against the Islamic system.”
He said that the enemies wanted to implement their goals against the Islamic ummah and Muslims in the name of Islam and said, “Despite the full support of the arrogant powers and the Zionists for the terrorist movements, we saw that the culture of the Ahlul-Bayt, the Islamic system and the legitimate motives of the people succeeded in defeating this conspiracy.”
Ayatollah Rajabi added, “The victory of the Islamic Resistance on the international level demonstrated that the arrogant powers, despite having structure and organization, are, as the Holy Quran describes, like a spider’s web. For this reason, if nations can learn from the victory of the Islamic Resistance Front, they can have independence in opposition to the arrogant powers.”
The teacher in the Islamic Seminary of Qom argued that the Zionists, the arrogant powers and their mercenaries are working together but weren’t able to achieve their goals and stated, “The hegemonic system is doomed to failure if the people rely on their forces and the rich culture of Islam. If this occurs, they will achieve victories in other areas as well.”
He said that the complex conspiracies of the enemies created a culture of brutality in the name of Islam and noted, “Therefore, in addition to this victory, there must be a serious work in the intellectual and cultural arenas so that we can uproot the ideological roots of Daesh, which come from Takfirism and Wahhabism, in order that the Islamic ummah will be insured and vaccinated against such plots in the future.”
Ayatollah Rajabi said, “With the victory of the Islamic Resistance and the defeat of Daesh, the wave of Islamic Awakening that has come into being in countries has been given a new life. This victory supports the Islamic Awakening and the oppressed nations.”
He added that movements like the separatism of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region, the resignation of Lebanese Prime Minister Sa’ad al-Hariri and the statement by the Gulf Cooperation Council were desperate efforts which, thankfully, had no effect and said, “The mercenaries, with the failure of Daesh, tried to keep the minds out of this issue and planed other plots but the victory of the Islamic Resistance strangled their future conspiracies in the bud.”
