RN‌A - According to Rasa News Agency, Shaykh Akram Al-Khaabi, Secretary-General of Iraq’s al-Nujaba resistance group, met with Ayatollah Afif al-Nablusi during his visit to Lebanon.

Ayatollah Nablusi, during the meeting, reiterated: "Iraq must be united with all its groups, ethnicities, religions and religious sects, and the Iraqi people must defuse all the conspiracies of the enemies who intend to disturb their unity, in particular the conspiracies that the US and the Zionist regime and Saudi Arabia are behind it. These are the countries which have committed the worst crimes and assassinations to weaken Iraq.”

"We need a united Iraq where the Popular Mobilization and other resistance forces can be powerful and cope with the enemies of Iraq, because these resistance groups guarantee the security of Iraq and its people by standing against the conspiracies of the enemies of Iraq and its people," he added.

“They were the ones who saved Iraq from the gang of the terrorists and now the enemies must know that their attacks on the popular mobilization have no effect on this institution and the Iraqi people.”

Shaykh Akram al-Ka'bi also presented a report to Ayatollah al-Nablusi on the most significant developments in Iraqi and Syrian battlefields and major victories of resistance, adding: "We are gradually getting closer to the day of the announcement of the complete liberation of Iraq, and today our troops are chasing the rest of ISIS elements that the US sent to Iraq and equipped.”
