RNA – In a meeting with a number of law enforcement officers from all over Iran, Grand Ayatollah Hoseyn Nouri-Hamadani said, “The police have a very important position and your work is a form of worship. Security is the basis of all progress and development and your service to the Islamic system is the highest service and worship.”
The revered source of emulation emphasized that we must never allow weakness and grief to overcome ourselves because faith will become dominant over all powers and added, “In the 2006 war between Lebanon and the Zionist regimes, the faith of the warriors was such that they believed that they could defeat the Zionists. Anyone who fights against faith will be defeated.”
He stressed that an important principle of dignity is that Muslims should have a government and power and this government should has its own culture and politics and other things.
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani said that during the expansion of Islam, the Prophet Muhammad established a government and noted, “At the time when the Prophet was about to die, he appointed Imam Ali as a ruler and leader. The situation was such that the last Shi’ah Imam went into occultation.”
The prominent teacher in the Islamic Seminary of Qom stressed that the greatest need of the people is a leader and explained, “In all the manners of jurisprudence, the person who has certain attributes and characteristics will be the leader of society in the absence of Imam al-Mahdi and all of these features are present in the Supreme Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei.”
After describing the features of a Wali al-Faqih or Guardian-Jurist, he stated, “Muslims must form a powerful government in order to preserve the dignity of the Muslims because there is a hostile enemy, namely the United States, which is opposed to us. Imam Khomayni was a personality who removed the veil from the face of the arrogant powers – including the world-devouring United States and the cunning United Kingdom.”
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani stated that introducing the arrogant powers to the world is considered as one of the most important services of Imam Khomayni and adding, “During the Sacred Defense [Iran-Iraq War], Imam Khomayni sent a shiver through the bodies of the enemies of Islam and the Islamic Revolution and stressed that this revolution must not fall into the hands of the foolish.”
In another part of his remarks about recent political developments regarding the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), His Eminence said, “It’s the duty of each one of us to preserve this honour and dignity. Muslims must be so powerful that the enemies feel a sense of fear from us. What is the relevance for these people of where our military weapons are? They themselves have stored thousands of nuclear warheads to kill innocent people while our missiles are for defence and we don’t give permission to any crazy person or organization to visit our military centres and our missiles.”
Explaining that the arrogant powers are afraid of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Hezbollah because they have spirituality, faith and belief, Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani noted, “Unity is another feature of dignity and the greater the unity, the greater our dignity will be. The people must be united in order to preserve their power and majesty.”
The revered source of emulation added that another principle of dignity is that we must deal with the enemies through force. The enemies must understand the force of Muslims in war because wherever treated them with ease, they blocked our progress.
He argued that the Supreme Leader has always advised and has never been soft with the enemies and added, “That some say Imam Husayn negotiated in Karbala is completely wrong while he did advise the enemies. The adversaries never compromise with us because they want our natural resources and intend to eliminate our interests. The cost of compromising with the enemies is greater than the cost of war.”
In conclusion, Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani emphasized that the security that exists in our country isn’t present anywhere in the world and this is the result of the services of the military and police forces of the country and said, “This system is a religious system that lays the groundwork for the advent of Imam al-Mahdi. Your actions will make the oppressed more powerful and the arrogant powers weakest day by day.”
