RNA – In a meeting with Ayatollah Alireza Arafi the head of Iranian seminaries, Grand Ayatollah Ja’far Sobhani emphasized the need to alter some of the seminary training methods and said, “Principles and courses of Islamic seminary should be presented to the students in a succinct and concise way, as the conditions of schooling and education have changed, comparing to the past.”
The senior cleric described Wahhabism as the main enemy of Shi’ah and noted, “All Wahhabi ideas and beliefs are summarized in 18 concise lessons.”
His Eminence suggested the Supreme Council of the Seminary to add the aforementioned lessons to the curriculum of seminary students to enable clerics to clear doubts in this regard.
Ayatollah Sobhani emphasized the importance and position of the Islamic Seminary of Qom and stated, “The Shi’ahs of the world have put their hope in Islamic Seminary of Qom. There is plenty of talents in this seminary and a precise management is required to discover them.”
