RNA – Speaking at a ceremony held at a husayniyah in the southern Lebanese village of al-Bayyadh, Hujjat al-Islam Ali al-Da’moush, the vice-president of the Executive Council of Hezbollah, said, “The United States has failed to harm Iran and the Islamic Resistance, overthrow the Syrian government, dominate the region or achieve its goals through Daesh. Daesh was the US’ tool to achieve its goals and those of the Zionist regime in the region but they faced successive failures in Syria, Iraq and Lebanon.”
The Lebanese Shi’ah cleric added that when all the US plots and conspiracies didn’t achieve anything, they plotted to divide the region and this conspiracy began in Iraq’s Kurdistan Region and thus, they are a direct threat to Iran and Hezbollah and is a new strategy from the enemies.
He noted that the new strategy of the US is the same as their former strategy of spreading sedition, war and terrorism in the Middle East and the world and attempting to force nations to surrender and to single-handedly administer the world, stated, “The US is the foundation of terrorism and its history is full of crimes against the peoples of the region. They established the Zionist regime and assisted it in the occupation of Palestine and the Arab territories.”
Iran has come out of all sanctions with its head held high
Hujjat al-Islam al-Da’moush said, “All the crimes in Palestine and Lebanon are carried out with American weapons. The US engaged in war and destruction against Afghanistan and Iraq and based on [US President] Donald Trump’s admission, terrorist groups were established and used by these groups to harm Syria, Iraq, Iran and the Islamic Resistance.”
He called the United States a factor in the insecurity in the world and emphasized, “Iran and Hezbollah are not factors in the insecurity in the region and the world but the US is imposing division and domination on the region and normalizing relations with the Zionist enemies on the basis of threats, sanctions and pressure and use of power against states and people.”
His Eminence noted that Iran, Hezbollah and Syria and all the countries of the Resistance Axis have endured various kinds of sanctions, war, sedition and threats and noted, “Over the past six years, US, the Zionist regime and Saudi Arabia and more than 80 countries have fought against Syria and for more than two years, they have fought against Yemen. The Zionist regime also fought against Lebanon in 2006 to destroy the Resistance, force Iran into obedience, overthrow Syria and dominate Yemen.”
American and Zionist threats are futile
Hujjat al-Islam al-Da’moush argued that Iran and the Islamic Resistance emerged from this issue with greater honour and more power and the powers of the world have all acknowledged that Syria and the entire Resistance have been victorious in the war against Daesh.
He pointed out that with their new strategy, they enemies cannot succeed and will be defeated again and said, “In countering the threats and sanctions, the countries of the Resistance Axis, especially Iran, have relied on the presence of people on the scene and their determination and strong opposition to surrender to the US.”
The senior Hezbollah official added, “Therefore, threats, sanctions, sedition and war are futile for such nations and we are committed to harmonious coexistence in the homeland and opposition to all forms of American and Zionist domination.”
In the final section of his remarks, Hujjat al-Islam al-Da’moush stated, “The Lebanese people have the ability to stand and defy the threats, conspiracies and sanctions of the US and the Zionists, protect the internal stability, consolidate national unity, ignore the orders of foreigners, disregard the threats of Saudi Arabia to plant seeds of sedition, adherence to the elements of power and protect the equation of the army, nation and Resistance.”
