RNA – In his Friday prayer sermon delivered to a large and fervent crowd of believers in Qom’s Qods Prayer Hall, Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad Sa’idi referred to the magnificent burial of the unknown martyrs from the Iran-Iraq War in at Qom’s Ma’sumiyeh Seminary and noted, “Qom hosts eight graves of the unknown martyrs but it’s known in heaven that three of these martyrs were buried in Ma’sumiyeh Seminary yesterday and the rest will be buried today and in the coming days.”
The custodian of the Holy Shrine of Lady Fatimah al-Ma’sumah adds, “When a man sells his life for God Almighty, he gains blessings as a warrior who is fighting on the path of God and after his martyrdom, his grave is a torch on the path, a teaching and messenger for all who must learn a lesson.”
Referring to the upcoming 39th anniversary of the burning of the Grand Mosque of Kerman by the Pahlavi regime, which were the enemies of Islam, he said, “This incident is reminiscent of the hostility of the Pahlavi regime to religion, faith and rituals.”
On October 16, 1978, which coincided with Arba’in, some 300 hirelings of the Pahlavi regime in disguise suddenly attacked the mosque while carrying sticks and iron bars and chanting “Javid Shah” (Long Live the Shah) and beat the people, burned property of the mosque, including Qurans and also, they plundered the shops that had hung photos of Imam Khomeyni.
Referring to the World Food Day, Ayatollah Sa’idi remarked, “Our people, with the natural facilities and God-given talents that they possess, shouldn’t be in need of food and food products from beyond the borders. This issue needs management and guidance.”
In another part of his speech, His Eminence said that there is a phenomenon which has been spreading rumours and allegations against Iran’s Islamic Revolution and the country’s Islamic system of government in recent days and noted, “This very dangerous phenomenon makes accusations and denigrates and disregards the dignity of the country’s authorities eon the internet.”
He added, “The accusation of others is one of the greater sins. Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq said that when someone accuses a believer, the faith in his heart melts. Someone who is accustomed to slandering and accusing others should say goodbye to his religion and faith. One who has religion, doesn’t engage in slandering and accusing others, especially against a believer and a servant.”
Ayatollah Sa’idi stressed that man must not repeat whatever he hears and sees online, “This is responsible action. At the beginning of the Revolution, the enemies of the people and the Islamic system damaged the arms of the Supreme Leader through physical terrorism.”
He said, “The current plan of the malicious and sinister enemies of the Islamic regime is to make insubstantial and undignified accusations against the prominent institutions and personalities of Wilayat al-Faqih [Guardianship of the Jurisprudent]. The words and recent actions of the US President [Donald Trump] are being assessed in the same means.”
His Eminence added, “The enemies want to accuse the powerful Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) with one ploy and accuse the worthy and resistant personalities who stand against the corruptors and seditious people with another ploy.”
Ayatollah Sa’idi said in the eyes of the imperialist powers and Takfiri groups, the IRGC is a “bone in the throats of the malicious enemies” of Islam and Iran’s Islamic system and added, “For this reason, they accuse this revolutionary institution and call it a terrorist organization. Fortunately, the authorities of the system have stood in defence of the IRGC against the enemies.”
His Eminence added, “The main purpose of the accusations is to harm the Islamic system. To the blind enemies: We have hope that the Revolution will continue until the reappearance of the Imam of the Time [Imam al-Mahdi] and the whole world knows that the people, the IRGC and other forces of the Islamic system will eradicate the infidels, the hypocrites and those who kill the innocent and oppressed human beings until the time of the reappearance and they are fully prepared at the last moments with the leadership of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution.”
In his planned speech on October 15, Trump is expected to designate the IRGC as a “terrorist” organization and “decertify” the JCPOA.
