RNA – In a meeting with different groups of people in the city of Qom on Tuesday, Shi’ah source of emulation Grand Ayatollah Hoseyn Nouri-Hamadani highlighted the importance of fighting against global terrorism, imperialist countries and the colonial powers.
Asserting that arrogant powers are clearly behind the Iraqi Kurdistan independence referendum, the revered source of emulation added, “Throughout history, the imperialist powers have always sought to create plots against Islam and the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
“The enemies’ goal in separating the Iraqi Kurdistan Region is to create a second Israel in the region hoping to undermine the integrity of four Islamic countries bordering Kurdistan. The enemies are plotting to destabilize these countries as a means to dominate them.”
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani further said, “We must not allow these vicious plots to be realized in our region. It’s absolutely essential that the government officials of all these four neighbouring countries act together and take a unified stance regarding this issue.”
Reiterating that the battle between the righteous and the wicked has existed throughout history and will continue until the Day of Judgement, the Shi’ah scholar concluded, “God Almighty does not want the wicked to overcome the righteous. Although the infidels have always plotted to defeat the righteous front, but they have not achieved any success yet.”
