RNA – Hezbollah’s deputy secretary general Sheikh Naim Qassim in a televised address emphasized the need to ignore the words of those who want to undermine the recent victory over terrorists, saying: "What happened on the eastern borders was a complete victory for the Lebanese army and resistance. Some pretend that Hezbollah has abducted victory from the army, while the equation of the army, the nation, and resistance is at the peak of power.”
He added that anyone who says Hezbollah seeks to bring Syria back to Lebanon is illusory because it was the United States and Saudi Arabia that brought Syria into Lebanon, and there is now no such thing as the return of Syria to Lebanon, and in Lebanon we do not seek help from any neighboring army.
The presence of Hezbollah in Syria is temporary
Senior Resistance Representative, pointing out that Hezbollah's presence in Syria is temporary, said: "We will return to the country immediately after the end of the mission. The relations between Lebanese army and resistance forces is excellent, and if there was no coordination between them, we would not have achieved such a victory over ISIS and the al-Nusra Front.”
Sheikh Naim Qassim announced the formation of a defensive layer between the refugee camp and the terrorists of the al-Nusra front. He noted that when the commander of the army announced the beginning of the operation, we were on the Syrian borders to prevent the terrorists from escaping to the Syrian territory and turning the area into a base for their operations against the Syrian military.
Saudi Arabia has failed in all projects
Sheikh Naeem Qassem, noted Saudi Arabia’s ‘harsh comments regarding Hezbollah’ and said: "We do not pay much attention to such words. Saudi Arabia is in its worst position and has failed in all its projects in the region. The war in Yemen and Syria has been at the expense of Saudi Arabia, they failed to interfere in Lebanon’s presidential election, and the country's plan for normalization of relations with the Zionist regime would be at the expense of them as well.
Regarding the maneuver of the Zionist regime along the southern borders of Lebanon he said: "This maneuver does not at all indicate preparations for war, but there’re political goals behind it. We are ready for any battle and we will not be surprised.
Hezbollah's deputy secretary general described Aleppo's liberation as the failure of the conspiracy of dividing Syria and liberation of Deir el-Zour as the ultimate victory over ISIL, pointing out: Hezbollah in Syria is a component of the resistance axis, and we will be with the axis of resistance even at far distances. The interview of Hajj Mostafa was to declare that Hezbollah’s presence in Syria is not hidden, but as part of the axis of resistance in the country.
