Rasa - Lebanese Sunni scholar expressed regret over “not mentioning the name of Palestine in the sermon of Arafat in Saudi Arabia.”
Shaykh Suhayb Habli

RNA Sheikh Suhaib Habli, member of the community of Muslim scholars of Lebanon in his sermon of Eid al-Adha at the mosque of Ebrahim (AS) in Sidon City, described the current achievements in defeating the terrorists in Lebanon as the result of the blood and sacrifice of the martyrs.

He said the celebration of Eid al-Adha this year coincided with the liberation of the eastern Lebanese borders from the al-Nusra terrorist group and ISIL and the return of security to these areas.

“Residents of these areas have been at risk of terrorism for many years, and this achievement is also the second festive occasion.”

The Sunni cleric expressed his hope for the liberation of Shab’a and Kafarshuba farms from the Zionist enemy, saying: "What reduces the joy is the return of the bodies of the kidnapped military personnel. These soldiers, along with other martyrs of the army and the resistance who were martyred in the war against terrorism, became the symbol of values and meanings of sacrifice in the way of Allah.”

Sheikh Suhaib Habli praised the commanders and forces of the Army and the Islamic Resistance for their victory in the war on terrorism, and considered their sacrifice to be the cause of the return of dignity to Lebanon and Lebanese.

He expressed regret over the performance of the Saudi government in this year’s Hajj rituals as well as “not mentioning the name of Palestine in the sermon of Arafat”, and continued: "It is within the conspiracy of forgetting the Palestinian issue.”

The Sunni cleric said that he hopes that the next year will be the end of Muslim division and the start of unity among them.
