RNA – In a conversation with Rasa News Agency, Ayatollah Mohsen Heydari, the representative of the people of Khuzestan in the Assembly of Experts, referred to the report of the administration of President Hasan Rouhani over the past four years, “Each government has strengths and weaknesses and the average should be taken into account.”
The Friday prayer leader of Ahvaz added that the eleventh government has had the same strength as other governments, including in foreign policy. Although we were facing the treachery of the American government, the activities of experts and the Foreign Ministry have led to the creation of a massive crackdown on the American-led hegemony in the world and have put an end to the accusations that Iran is building an atomic bomb.
Ayatollah Heydari said that some of the sanctions that were imposed under this pretext have been removed and said, “Of course, there is still fresh news from the United States every day and it should be noted that there is no confidence in the United States.”
He added that in the health field, there hasn’t been a final victory but services have been provided and noted, “Unfortunately, in the economic arena, a inadequate situation exists and we are witnessing inflation and stagnation and a recession has affected 60 to 70 percent of small, medium and large factories.”
The Iranian cleric stated that unemployment has become very high and said, “That which must and should have been done in the economic arena has not been done. Contrary to the slogans given, reality shows something else. In the context of inflation, although the government claims to be controlling it, there is still inflation and people are complaining due to the high prices.”
Ayatollah Heydari said, “There have been many trivialities and retreats on moral and cultural issues and there are has been much recklessness in the wake of the same disorderly events that have occurred such that the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution [Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei] has posed the issue of ‘firing at will’ in the context of the enemies of Islam and of the Islamic Revolution and the influence of events which have taken place but due to the blessings of the country’s security forces, the unknown soldiers of the Imam of the Time [Imam al-Mahdi], the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the police, Iran has a better safety record than other countries.”
His Eminence noted, “We hope the twelfth government will fill the gaps and eliminate the weaknesses and fulfill their promises to create 950,000 jobs a year.”
Ayatollah Heydari added that the government must avoid publishing false statistics because it’s not too much to say that false statistics deceive the people and the people will eventually discover the truth and stressed, “We hope that with national unity and solidarity, the new administration, where nearly all of President Rouhani’s cabinet picks were approved, can provide good service to the people.”
“We always wish success for the government of the Islamic Republic and we hope that God will give them grace to fulfil their mission,” he prayed.
