RNA – Speaking at a ceremony held in the district of Tamnin al-Tahta in Lebanon’s Baalbek-Hermel Governorate, Hujjat al-Islam Na’im Qasim described the liberation of Lebanon as a responsibility for all and said, “This issue does not belong to a particular group or party but all people are obliged to take back their homeland from the Takfiri terrorists.”
The Deputy Secretary-General of Lebanon’s Hezbollah Islamic Resistance group added, “If the freedom of the country is possible only in the light of the cooperation of the army, the nation and the Islamic Resistance [Hezbollah], then the Resistance must exist, and if the Resistance does not exist, it must be established.”
Hujjat al-Islam Qasim stressed that due to complex geographical conditions posed by the Anti-Lebanon Mountains, the liberation of Lebanon’s eastern borders from the Takfiri terrorists is by no means less important than the liberation of southern Lebanon from the Zionists and both are considered as great victories for Lebanon.
He said, “With the liberation of the eastern borders, we will see the end of car bombings, support for Lebanon and the Islamic Resistance in the battle against the occupiers, the destruction of the Takfiri emirates and savagery, the closure of the gates of sedition, sectarianism and tribalism and the consolidation of security and political stability.”
The senior member of the Islamic Resistance mentioned all these achievements as the result of the fight against the Daesh Takfiri terrorist group and the liberation of the eastern borders and said, “We do not fight with a specific group in a geographical area but rather we are fighting against a dangerous project and if it infiltrates our country and our homes, our present and our future will also be destroyed.”
Hujjat al-Islam Qasim noted that the Takfiri project is an integral part of the Zionist project to destroy the region to strengthen the Zionist regime, saying, “The war against the Takfiris and the Zionists is the same because they are two sides of the same coin.”
On Tuesday, The Lebanese army said it has captured most of the mountainous area on the border with Syria during an operation aimed at purging the region of Daesh Takfiri terrorists.
