Ayatollah Ka’bi:
Rasa – Ayatollah Ka’bi said that based on their faith in Wilayat al-Faqih and the transcendent movement of Ashura, the Defenders of the Holy Shrines, including the martyr Mohsen Hojjaji, have created security for Islamic World including Iran.
Ayatollah Abbas Ka’bi

RNA – In a statement, Ayatollah Abbas Ka’bi referred to the martyrdom of one of the Defenders of the Holy Shrines in Iraq and Syria, Mohsen Hojjaji, by members of the Takfiri terrorist group, Daesh, saying, “The martyred Defenders of the Holy Shrines fought in the Imposed War [Iran-Iraq War] for eight years, working for the movement of Imam al-Husayn, and their right to life is on the necks of the Islamic ummah and the Iranian nation because the seed of corruption and cancerous tumour of Daesh is beyond the geographical boundaries, nations and situations and is in fact a global threat to humanity.”

The representative of the people of Khuzestan in the Assembly of Experts stated that, “The great martyr Mohsen Hojjaji, who was martyred by the Shimr of our time, was martyred like Imam al-Husayn. In his last statement, he said, ‘Do not doubt that the path of wilayah [guardianship] is the path of Ali and our Leader is Sayyed Ali [Khamenei]’ and in the same statement, he wrote ‘my martyrdom would confirm this statement.’”

He stated, “It is therefore clear that the martyred Defenders of the Holy Shrines, including the martyr Mohsen Hojjaji, based on their faith on Wilayat al-Faqih [Guardianship of the Jurisprudent] and the transcendent movement of Ashura, have created security for Islamic Iran, and the nation of Iran should always be grateful to the martyred Defenders of the Holy Shrines.”

Ayatollah Ka’bi said, “People in the media sometimes ask ‘what relationship do Iraq, Lebanon and Syria have with us?’ In fact, with their ignorance and superficiality, they’re declaring themselves as a movement which is anti-Iranian, anti-Islamic and against our national security.”

Referring to the brutal crimes committed by the Daesh Takfiri terrorist forces and the intellectual atmosphere governing these criminals, the member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom said, “Daesh forces have gathered together ignorance, evil provocations and superficiality and hence have a deep hatred towards the Shi’ah and Islamic Iran and they should be considered as the Kharijites and Umayyads of our time.”

He added, “If it wasn’t for the martyred Defenders of the Holy Shrines and their sacrifices, today we would be fighting with the criminal elements of Daesh within the territory of Iran and instead of one person being martyred on occasion, hundreds of martyrs would be martyred inside Iran every day.”

Ayatollah Ka’bi said that the actions of the Defenders of the Holy Shrines are civilization-building actions and added, “The sacrifices, injuries and martyrdom of the Defenders of the Holy Shrines are among the highest values and their actions are based on religion, ethics and jurisprudence.”

The member of the Assembly of Experts referred to the fact that the Daesh are the pioneers of the Sufyani movement, said, “The destruction of Daesh and the eradication of this Takfiri terrorist group is in fact victory over the army of the Sufyani and the Defenders of the Holy Shrines are the foundation for the emergence of the promised Imam al-Mahdi.”

“If the Defenders of the Holy Shrines didn’t exist, the Umayyads and the Sufyani of our time would be dominant over the whole of western Asia and we would have to fight these gruesome and criminal elements within our bordners,” the Iranian cleric noted.

In conclusion, Ayatollah Ka’bi referred to the Islamic Republic of Iran’s intelligent and authoritative strategy in defense of the holy shrines and said, “The Islamic Republic’s strategy of defending the holy shrines is the deterrent power of the country in protecting and promoting universal security. Hence, the Defenders of the Holy Shrines act as generators of universal security for Islamic Iran and we must continue to appreciate them and learn from their faith, devotion, guardianship and insight.”
