RNA – In an interview with Rasa News Agency, Hujjat al-Islam Mahdi Soleymani-Ardehali described the unity of the Islamic ummah as the basis for overcoming the turmoil of the Islamic world, and stated, “Regarding the issue of Hajj, which has now gained the attention of the Islamic ummah, we should pay attention to the points which unify the Islamic ummah.”
The Friday prayer leader of Mashhad Ardehal in Esfahan Province described the killing of the people of Myanmar, Nigeria, Yemen, Palestine, Syria and Iraq as one of the major issues in the Muslim world and said, “The calamities befalling countries such as Myanmar and Nigeria have been created from behind the scenes. For this reason, the Islamic ummah has understood that the Zionists are one of the most important enemies of the Islamic ummah and have been managing and guiding these calamities.”
He stressed that the enemies see confrontation with Islamic unity as the basis for weakening the people of the Islamic world, and said, “The enemies of Islam seek to ensure that there is no meaningful and vigilant observation among the people of the Islamic world to monitor these issues in order to report on the united Islamic ummah.”
Hujjat al-Islam Soleymani-Ardehali described ethnic cleansing, the killing of Muslims and the creation of inhumane groups, such as Daesh, in the name of Islam as symbols of Zionism, and said, “The creation of crimes with the justification of the Islamic nature of these actions by the United States reflects the depth of the enmity of the ‘Great Satan’ toward the unified Islamic ummah.”
The secretary of the Advanced Level Teachers Council of the Islamic Seminary of Qom described some of the rulers of Islamic nations as symbols of the hegemonic system and said, “These puppets have always created a pattern of ignorance in the Islamic world so that a reduced amount of news regarding the united Islamic ummah reaches the ears of the people of the world.”
His Eminence pointed out that the people of the Islamic world must wake up and added that the rulers of some Muslim nations, have always tried to prevent anger among nations and to undermine the foundations of unity in the Islamic world because they are indebted to the United States and to the Zionists.
Hujjat al-Islam Soleymani-Ardehali pointed to the brave actions of the scholars and the sources of emulation who have condemned the genocide of the oppressed Rohingya Muslims of Myanmar and said, “All the brave Iranian people support the rights of the united Islamic ummah, so the Hajj should be the basis for the formation of a unified cry in the Muslim world.”
The government of Myanmar denies full citizenship to the 1.1 million-strong Rohingya population, branding them as illegal immigrants from Bangladesh, and troops and police have engaged in the killing and raping of the ethnic and religious minority in the majority Buddhist southeast Asian country.
