RNA – Speaking at a press conference in the Pakistani capital of Islamabad, Hujjat al-Islam Rajah Nasir Abbas Ja’fari, the secretary general of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, the biggest Shi’ah political-religious party in Pakistan, said, “Daesh is present in Pakistan and the heads of state must take the threats posted by Daesh seriously.”
The senior Pakistani cleric explained that foreigners and their mercenaries are planning a civil war and sectarian and tribal differences in Pakistan and said, “Pakistan is an Islamic country and a good neighbour to the Islamic Republic of Iran, and for this reason, the enemies don’t want the friends of Iran to have security.”
Hujjat al-Islam Ja’fari emphasized that respect and reverence to the martyrs is recommended by the Holy Quran and by the divinely-sent prophets and said, “A nation which forgets its own martyrs will suffer hardship.”
He said that Allamah Arif al-Husayni, the late martyred Shi’ah leader of Pakistan, was a loyal child of the nation and saying, “This martyred scholar strived hard for peace and tranquillity and Islamic and national unity.”
The secretary general of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen referred to the holding of a ceremony to commemorate the anniversary of Hujjat al-Islam Arif al-Husayni, who was martyred in Peshawar on August 5, 1988, in Pakistan, and added, “In this ceremony, prominent personalities and leaders of various sects will participate.”
Hujjat al-Islam Ja’fari noted that the recently ousted Prime Minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif’s political party, the Pakistan Muslim League, is a hereditary party which puts personal interests before national interests.
