RNA – Speaking at a ceremony to mark the birth anniversary of eighth infallible Shi’ah Imam, Ali ibn Musa al-Ridha, in Mashhad on Friday, Grand Ayatollah Naser Makarem-Shirazi said, “Gnostics tend to regularly evaluate their own conscience in order to reach higher levels of mysticism. We also need to review our life choices and past deeds in order to purify our soul and reach felicity.”
The revered Shi’ah source of emulation then touched on the issue of cyberspace and its inherent dangers asserting that government officials must be aware of such threats and take meaningful actions before its dire consequences such as moral corruption spread widely and damage family relations.
Message to Saudi Officials, “Do not support Takfirism”
Elsewhere in his remarks, Ayatollah Makarem-Shirazi pointed out that Daesh is the offspring of the Wahhabi doctrine and added, “Two researchers have collected as many as 80 documents including speeches, books and other resources which prove the fact that Takfiris originates from Saudi Arabia. These documents have been published as a book to show the world the birthplace of Takfirism.”
He further addressed the Saudi officials saying, “If you want you to save your face around the world, you need to stop supporting takfiri terrorists.”
