RNA – Ayatollah Sayyed Ahmad Alamolhoda, the representative of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution [Ayatollah Khamenei] in Khorasan Razavi province and the Friday prayer leader of Mashhad, met today with Grand Ayatollah Hoseyn Nouri-Hamadani at the home of the revered source of emulation in Mashhad for a meeting and discussion.
At this meeting, Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani emphasized the necessity of practical unity between government officials and the people and said, “Today, our society needs more unity – more than any other time. Some speak about unity, the past and the beginning of friendship but in their speeches and through their actions, they violate their own statements.”
He considered the axis of ethics in Islamic society as essential and added, “Islamic society should be ethical and lies, slander, libel and personal and political goals should be eliminated and we should consider God as the witness of our actions, behaviour and speech in every place and in all situations.”
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani said that the late founder of Iran’s Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeyni, was a wise scholar in the presence of God Almighty and added, “A man who makes a covenant with God fears the East and the West and bases his work on right and truth. In our time, Imam Khomeyni is a practical model of work based on right and truth.”
In another part of his remarks, the teacher in the Islamic Seminary of Qom reacted to the new sanctions imposed by the United States on Iran, saying, “Despite the imposition of sanctions and a decisive vote in the US House of Representatives on this issue, still, some do not believe that the US is a traitor.”
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani emphasized, “The US has repeated its treachery, and just like it has over the past 38 years, they are continuing their hostility toward the Iranian people but now, they have intensified their hostilities. Therefore, the [Iranian] authorities should not be indifferent to this issue and must combat the enemies’ plots.”
